My bridesmaids dress were inexpensive IMO (close to $100) and my FH has two nieves (who I will eventually become and Aunt to once we tie the knot.
My SNIl is in the Bridal Party. Can someone please give guidance on who pays for the FG dress ($60 each)? I am sure it varies, but what is the norm?

FG's parents pay for the dress...SD was our FG so we paid.

I paid for my FG's dress-- I personally think its a little tacky to ask the parents to pay for the dress, its you who wants the kid to be in the party. I would feel really weird asking for the $$$
ETA: And whats $60 when your spending so much already,,jmho

It wasn't but since FSIL came with me when I tried on my dress then FG's also tried on one style I liked as well.
I told her that we shoudl probably order it soon and let her know how much it would cost. I am thinking of maybe paying for my FNIL's make up as a 'nice' gesture.

There is more than one flower girl for starters. And my FH's sister, Brother in Law and Children are all in the wedding and they are paying for their attire so I wasn't sure if it would be any different for the kids.

we paid for our FG dress and our RBs suits but that's because we wanted to. I think usually the parents pay for it.

Im paying for mine too, but its not tacky to ask the parents to pay for it, we all have paid our dues to other peoples weddings. I just know that the FG parents will hate the dress i pick so i dont wanna be bothered

Usually the parents of the FG pay for the dress. If you want to be generous and pay for it...thats up to you!
We had 2 FG's...we paid for 1 of their dresses because her parents were jobless at the time.

We paid for one of our FG's dresses because her mother is useless. The other one, her mom paid for it, but we would have been happy to pay for that one also.

We are paying for our FG's dress since both of her parents are in our wedding. We just didn't feel it would be right to have them pay for it on top of everything else they are paying for.

I paid for our flower girl's dress. She is 'our' niece and her brother (our nephew) is the ring bearer. Also, my future brother in law is the best man. I felt that buying for the kids would be a financial burden so I'm paying for the dress and the RB suit.

In my case my flower girl is also FH niece...However, FMIL is going to pay for the flowergirls dress.
