My bridesmaids dress were inexpensive IMO (close to $100) and my FH has two nieves (who I will eventually become and Aunt to once we tie the knot.
My SNIl is in the Bridal Party. Can someone please give guidance on who pays for the FG dress ($60 each)? I am sure it varies, but what is the norm?
Thanks girls!

Re: What pays for the flower girl dresses?
One FG is my daughter and her besties are the FG and RB. I paid for their attire since their parents are also in the wedding party and the kids are special to me

We are paying for our FG's dress since both of her parents are in our wedding. We just didn't feel it would be right to have them pay for it on top of everything else they are paying for.
Same for us... we are paying for RB's suit too for the same reason.

I think I am going to be paying for mine because the parents are useless. I want them to be what I want, not what the mom wants.

FG's parents pay, but I think it's a nice gesture if the B and G pay, esp if the parents are already incurring other expenses since they're also in the BP

FGs parents are paying for her dress. I'm buying all the accessories - hair ribbons, basket for flowers & DOJ (it's my niece)

we are going to be paying for them. 1. i want to pick it out, 2. i think its a nice gesture, and 3. i dont want them to have to take on another expense. but i agree that TRADITIONALLY the childs parent pays

Re: What pays for the flower girl dresses?
My FH has 2 nieces who are our flower girls. My FSIL and her husband are in the wedding as well, so I paid for the girls dresses with were like $80 each since FSIL is pregnant and will be 9 months pregnant at the wedding and has to shell out a lot of money for alterations so I decided to pay for the dresses.
