My bm's walked into Canon in D but I walked into 'Trumpet Voluntary'

Can't do Trumpet Voluntary. Anything that the english royalty use in their fancy ceremonies is out. FH said no way jose (he's not a fan of the Queen and neither is his dad or my dad), sooooo....Jesu Joy of Man's desire sounds really nice......that is in the running.

Prince of Denmark March is also out (which sucks b/c I like it but it's something that just is not up for compromise!)

I used Kenny G's 'The Wedding Song'. I didn't want to walk up to something traditional, and this was just a beautiful piece. I received many compliments too.

I have yet to speak with the church's music director...but, I have my heart set on Bach's Violin concerto in G Minor. It's beautiful--I work for a ballet company and we recently had a ballet made for us using this music...

i like air on the g string by bach. that is what my bridesmaids will be walking down to, but it is also great for a bride. check out www.wedalert.com for more ideas.

Pinky -- I am doing the exact reverse of yours!! I'm walking up to Canon in D and the BP will have Con Te Partiro! I think that is a beautiful choice for the bride's processional also, I'm just a sucker for Canon in D though.

I love Canon in D too but I can't find a piece for the BP that I like that compliments it. however Air is nice too .
