I haven't met with florists yet, but this is what I need
12-14 LOW centerpieces my boo-k 6 Bridesmaid Boo-ks 4 corsages 9 boutineirs two ensables for the alter a little bit of greenery for the dias
I want nothing exotic - roses for all of these would be ideal
I have NO IDEA about flowers and need SOME TYPE of basis when I go in there

Maybe $1000 - 1300 depending on the centerpieces. Try Burtons or Jack and Rose. I am using Burtons and I can pick any flowers I want but I know someone who went to Jack and Rose and they gave her a lower price than Burtons.
It is easier b/c you know what you want.

Thats almost exactly what I'm getting from burtons, minus the two alter pieces... I'm paying approx. $1200.

Try Flowers by Liz - told her what I wanted to spend & showed her pics of what I wanted & she worked with me.

jack and rose might be low 1000 we got high pedistals with 2 dozen rozes for 20 tables 6 bridesmaids 10 corasages, our table, flowers for cocktail hour rose petals to throw at the wedding rose petals to decorate wedding cake table and table card table, flowers for moms mini bouquiets, 2 alter servers, ring boy, 2 corsages for grandmas plus a couple things i think i forgot. hehe
