What readings have you chosen? (Catholic ceremony)

My FH's brother agreed to do a reading but he's all nervous about it and wants to have a few months to go over it. He doesn't have much else going on in his life (he's on disability) so he needs something to fixate on .

Could you share your readings? We're obviously not at the stage to be choosing them and I have no idea when we're going to church next...so I'd love to hear what ya got!

Thanks!

oooh, I'd get on that ASAP. It took us about 4 weeks to pick the readings and music for the ceremony, and then print the programs

we chose:
Tobit 8:4b-8
Hebrews 13:1-4a, 5-6b

I think I am doing
Tobit 8:4b-8 Allow us to live together to a happy old age
Corinthians 12:31-13:8a If I do not have love, I gain nothing

It's not set in stone yet, but I think we are using:

Song of Songs - 'Stern as Death is Love' - forgot the chaper
Corinthians 'If I do not have love, I gain nothing' (aka Love is patient, love is kind...) 12:31-13:8a
