What reception halls did you look at while you were searching for 'The One'??

For us....
Westbury Manor, Crest Hollow, Sand Castle, Woodbury CC, Carlye on the Sound (form. Sail Harbor), Chateau La Mer, ...we looked at 9 and I can't remember the other ones

I also count Land's End and Giorgios because I went to weddings there very recently!

We looked at Riviera, Captain Bill's, Bridgeview Yacht Club, Carltun on the Sound and chose Chateau La Mer. FH fell in love with it right away. We only looked at places on the water and I love the ballroom at CLM with the windows looking out onto the water.

east wind--which was my number one except it's too far from my church
vineyard caterers--too much money but beautiful
miller place inn--more money than we wanted to spend, but beautiful! was in a wedding there recently and LOVED it!

I went to :
Carlton on the Sound Carlton on the Park Woodlands Woodbury Country Club North Ritz Village Club at Lake Success and Hamlet Windwatch then Garden City Hotel...which I promptly fell in love with and my FI could see it was the ONE
