Antica Italian Restaurant in Ridgewood, Queens (where I grew up). There is also a really good Italian restaurant close to my house, La Tavernetta. Five Burros on Austin St. in Forest Hills is great (where our first 'date' was!) as well as Mi Tio's Steakhouse on Queens Blvd. We also love Cozymel's at the Source. I think the best place we have ever eaten has been at Hemmingway's in Vermont. The food was amazing!

On LI we've gone to the Mixing Bowl in Bellmore a lot.
In NYC it's Va Tutto in Soho, Cafe Habana in Nolita (mostly my favorite), Lil Frankies in the East Village and Burritoville for takeout.

I love love love Stella's its the best.
Me and FH go to a lot of restuarants in the city we always try new things. We dont have a fave. I guess White Castle would be it though.

OMG...so many
Cafe Continental in Manhasset - the food is UNBELIEVABLE
Cabana's - Austin Street or South Street Seaport...we go there alot in the summer time they have an amazing Banana Fosters and the empanadas are incredicble
Forlini's in Manhattan (Baxter St) - everything on the menu is so deleicious...its owned by family friends of mine and I have been going to this place since I was a little girl...the food speaks for itself...best kept secret...

Vittorio's in Amityville.. J&R Steakhouse in StonyBrook (FH would eat there every day if we lived closer!) Bertucci's.... Cheescake Factory....

That's our favorite, too! Their drinks kick our butts, their brown bread is amazing, and their food... oh my god.

WE LOVED Bennigans in Garden City, but it closed
We would have gone tonight for St Patty's day.
But we also like Vincents in Carle Place.

We went to Cheesecake Factory over the weekend and I have to say...it may be going down hill...not as good as it once was IMO

My FH has an obsession with Outback steak house for some reason. I like Nick d'Angelos in Merrick. We usually end up ordering take out chicken cutlet parm. lately though!

Yuka on 2nd Ave betw. 81 & 82. Also, Applebees & Boulder Creek are our standard 'middle of the week & I don't feel like cooking dinner' restaurants. :)
