What's Next...

Hey Ladies,

So far FH and I have booked our Venue, Church, DJ and Photographer/Videographer ...which is most of the big checks, YAY! Now I feel like I should wait a lil bit so we can recover some of our funds b4 I dive right into our florist search...but the thought of putting the planning on hold gives me anxiety lol.

I figure if I work on some small stuff maybe I will feel like I've accomplished something... I've started working on our Save the Dates, but they probably won't be done until the end of March beginning of April since we aren't taking our engagement pictures till March and we want to use them for the Save the Dates. So I need something else to do!! lol I think I need some 'do it yourself' projects for the in between times! (any suggestions?)

So I guess what I am wondering is where are you ladies in ur planning process and what's next for you?

What's Next... - Long Island Weddings

Congrats on all the checks! ...My planning is on hold, I've been too busy with trying to find work and going to grad school..But some things I plan on DIY are table numbers, ribbon wands, bathroom baskets, pictures and frames, I'm also doing a 'Meet the Maids' and 'Meet the Men' photo frame collage with each of the girls and guys pictures and writing a little something about each of them and displaying it at the reception....I'm sure there's more I just can't think of anything else right now lol

Congrats on all the checks! ...My planning is on hold, I've been too busy with trying to find work and going to grad school..But some things I plan on DIY are table numbers, ribbon wands, bathroom baskets, pictures and frames, I'm also doing a 'Meet the Maids' and 'Meet the Men' photo frame collage with each of the girls and guys pictures and writing a little something about each of them and displaying it at the reception....I'm sure there's more I just can't think of anything else right now lol

OMG I love those ideas!! I might copy youfor the Meet the Maids frame for my bridal shower! That'll keep me busy on the days when it's snowing and I can't do any running around! Thanks for idea!!

Oh my gosh we looked at like 6 DJs and just when I was beginning to lose hope that I would find a place where i would like the price and the quality we checked out Tommy Tunes. They were amazing and a great price, FH and I booked with them on the spot!!

Ps- I think that they might be a suggested vendor of East Wind, my friend got married there this past May and they went with Tommy Tunes as well..they were fabulous!

I am going to call Tommy's Tunes and set up an appointment and meet with them. I actually won a really cool light up booth at the last showcase I went to and saw the so they are def. on my list to check out. I have heard they are really good. Which DJ/ MC of Tommy's tunes are you going with? Thanks for the info! :)

Found the idea on Pinterest ... I think it's a nice way to show some appreciation to the bridal party, and a nice little surprise at the reception to include them
