What's the worst thing a bf/gf has ever said to you?

I had a boyfriend once back in school that said: 'You're really not that pretty, but you're fun to be around.' Needless to say, he wasn't my boyfriend after that

Mind you that was in HS and yes, I had little bitty ones back then but since then I have grown up and have developed more. I now love what I got.

I had one BF tell me 'You'd be so much hotter if you were thinner'.....and after I got mad at him for that he thought I still wanted to date him!

I was dating this guy for a while and we both wanted to be exclusive...we both had strong feelings for one another. He was hesitating because we lived about an hour away from each other and he wasn't sure if it would work. Anyway, we ran into his old college crush (they never even kissed/dated) one day and after we left he said, 'now that would be a long distance relationship that I would have to take a shot at.'

An EX-BF once told me that my looks were 'growing on him.' And I'm such an idiot - I stayed with him for 5 more years! I finally got smart and got rid of him.

I was so upset and mad and have a complex til this day..

Not him but his mom told me on the phone that I'm nice and everything but I would be so much prettier if I were thinner....uh...uh....I managed to say, thank you for the advice. If it were in person after my jaw hit the floor I would have drop kicked her.

From BF's mother - oyyy, this is HORRIBLE. My mother had breast cancer, and had a double masectomy. After the surgery the doctors tracked her white blood cell count to make sure there wasn't a remission. One weeked, BF's parents came up to NY from MD, and wanted to meet us in NYC for a show. I had just found out that my mother's test results came back BAD and it looked like she was in remission (turned out to be a fluke, thank god!), so I went to the show, but left early because I was really depressed. BF's mom, who had been talking crap about me for months and months, told BF that I made up the whole story just so I could be the center of attention and to get out of seeing them. This is the same woman, who, when I first met her, she asked what I like to eat and what I don't eat so she'll know what to cook. I told her I don't eat pork because we never really ate it in my house (parent's grew up kosher, though I didn't). After about 3 months, everytime we would visit his family in MD, she would serve pork for EVERY meal.
