But I LOVE all the chicken soup for the soul books.
I have 1 - 6, the american soul, and the womans soul. My most favorite books. I could read all of them 1000 times. (I really love those books. They are really uplifting, funny, and really warm your heart)

Jenny, we have a 5 hour flight there and back, and a few long car-service rides....

What else as I supposed to do (We're not fans of PDA's here)

Re: What's your favorite book(s)

Easy plane reads:

Olivia Goldsmith - Switcheroo & Marrying Mom
Janet Evanovich - The Stephanie Plum Series

All these are hilarious and fast reads!

Re: What's your favorite book(s)

Agatha Cristie is the best for a long flight! You will feel like it only took five minutes! I adore her books!

I also really like John Irving! Memoires of Geisha was really good, i read it a few years ago!

Re: What's your favorite book(s)

Anything by Nelson DeMille - he's my 'quick, mindless, hilarious, sexist, light' read. Plum Island, Gold Coast...

Memoirs of a Geisha was excellent...not really a 'light' read.

Valley of the Dolls was a good read.

Re: What's your favorite book(s)

Honeymoon Read thread

The books I've read lately have been a little 'deep' for a light honeymoon read: Handmaid's Tale, Panic Snap, Honor Lost, Kindred, Property...

Watermelon was written in an entertaining fashion, but its about a husband leaving his wife, so you may not want it on a honeymoon.

Re: What's your favorite book(s)

Thanks, Lisa... BTW, I liked Kindred (and wouldn't have problems reading it on honeymoon)... But not the handmaid's tale... I felt that book just led you nowhere...
