What's your timeline between now and your wedding!

I have the venue and photographer booked, and hope to have the band done before the holidays. Then I know I will start looking for a dress after I drop the holiday weight in Jan/Feb lol. Not sure where to go after that with about a year left to go. What's your timeline for booking/buying stuff??

What's your timeline between now and your wedding!

I started looking at dresses last month or so but I don't plan on buying one until next year. I started early because I just wanted to try on dresses lol and I'm picky so I figured it would take me a while. I already ordered my STD they should be here next week (only because I used the Gilt City coupon for wedding paper divas and got a great deal)!

I plan on just buying decorations/accessories as I see them if I can get a great price. I don't really have a set timeline.

EDIT: I've laso already booked photographer, DJ, & florist (& if we have enough money in the budget ill add video to my photographer package).

I started e-mailing makeup/hair vendors to see when they book up and for prices and all that information to get an idea. Once I hit the one year mark, I'll probably book all of that plus hotels and limos. I figured in August/September I'll have my bridesmaids order their dresses (although a couple of days after Christmas we're going bridesmaid dress shopping to get ideas since that may be the only time they're all together before my wedding since i have 2 OOT bridesmaids).

What's your timeline between now and your wedding!

I've booked most of my major vendors, already took my e-shoot & have my STD's (won't be sending out until the summer though). In the next few months I'm going to shop around for my dress, look at limo companies, hotel blocks, do hair & makeup trials. I'd like to have those things done by the 1 year mark. After that I'll be focusing on DIY projects, honeymoon, bridesmaids dresses, bridal party gifts, accessories for myself (shoes, jewelry, etc), plan rehearsal dinner, our registry, invitations, tuxes... not sure what else lol but the earlier you get things done the better. A Benefit of a long engagement is little to no stress

What's your timeline between now and your wedding!

We have venue, church, photo, video, hotel and dj all booked. Next is flowers, which I'd like done by the end of the year (ps anybody else getting stalked by florists? I get at least one call a day from a few of them over the past week!). My mom wants me to wait to dress shop until the summer but I'd be happy going now lol so we'll probably compromise on spring. Bridesmaid dresses well do in the summer.. Everything else is just little things. I'm planning to try to get a lot of little things (napkins, matches, etc.) Black Friday/cyber Monday.

Since we have everything major booked other than flowers, I don't feel any pressure right now to do anything else. I'm kind of also a little bored lol

What's your timeline between now and your wedding!

We have venue, photographer, lighting, and DJ. Currently working on florists and officiant and would like to get them booked by the end of the year. We are doing pictures for STDs in January and sending out STDs in April. We are going back to NY in April so we will meet with every vendor we have booked as well as take official engagement pics. During that trip, I will also start looking for my dress and the bridesmaids dress in stores (just online searches until then).

What's your timeline between now and your wedding!

I haven't booked anything besides my vendor yet, I'm trying my best to do as much research as I can before booking anything just because I don't want to book something and then wind up finding something better that I would have rather used.

I have a pretty good idea of who I want to book, FH and I are just trying to get our money together for down payments and stuff the only thing that is comforting me right now is knowing we have quite some time before we really get to crunch time. I just hate feeling like I'm not going to get everything done in time or forgetting something lol but everyone keeps assuring me it will all come together :)

What's your timeline between now and your wedding!

We have venue and photograher/videographer booked. We have met with my church and they have us penciled in on the calendar. I was hoping to get DJ booked by the end of the year year, but it might wait until beginning of Jan. I feel like the venue, photography, and music are the top three for me so to have those done with over a year to go will lead to less stress and allow me to focus on the other little things that need to get done.

were a weekend away from each other on our wedding dates and I'm following pretty much the same timeline. We have church, venue, photographer, and video. we have an appointment December 6th with the DJ were hoping to use. once those are done we feel like we can relax and the rest is details.
