What sense does this board make?

I thought the September girls deserved a board.
Why all '03?

I have the same thoughts. This was suppossed to be dedicated to September Brides. Love you ladies

While I think this board is useless as well, here's a question, why are we all still looking at it and posting??

Sept Brides, if you wanted your own board, why not utilize this one? Personally, I will not be posting on it, so that's one of us you don't have to worry about!

hahaha, I couldn't figure out the difference, I mean-mostly everyone on BHB is in '03, with '04 joining fast! This seems sillly- Sept. brides can have it.
I think I actually saw a posting of how p*ssed someone was that it was '03 not just Sept.
What's the big deal- just keep adding to your thread.....

I might have been that person Michelle.... I wasn't ****ed off that Sept didn't get a board- personally I think there shouldn't be any specialized month boards... I was a little more (I'm now over it) disappointed that we have the 03 and 04 boards up here.... New ladies are coming here for their first post when they see 03 brides up top. Also, it just is more ways to unnneccessarily seperate the team.... It's fine though... definitely no big deal...just one persons respectful opinion...Sorry if it came off a little whiny...

They changed it to all of 2003, which I think is fair. Why do you feel only the 9/03 brides should have a private board (just curious)? I'm 11/03

I guess for someone new to the boards, the situation you saw would look a little strange and dare I say, witchy.... We sept girls did not mean it like that... Here is the brief history: A couple of months ago, the only boards were Brides Helping Brides and Vendors helping Brides.... However, there were many girls who were having their wedding in May 03... They started a thread on the BHB board and when it hit 1000 posts, they received their own board (You can see it up top.. it says 'May')... Girls who have weddings in 04 did the same and when they reached 1000 posts, they got their own board also.... September 03 had their own thread going also and just a few days ago reached 1000 posts..... We had thought, I guess through assumption, that LI Weddings gave a gift to any thread that got 1000 posts... So when LI Weddings set up an 03 board, we were confused because we thought it was a Sept board, just like the May board....

This 03 board was NOT our board---- we're not getting one--- we apologized--- To tell you the truth, we don't even want one.... I want to talk with everyone not just certain girls!!! I am SOOOO happy and proud of the thread alone...

I DO however want a family community (that is why I love LIWeddings over the Knot and WC) and I don't think a May board, 03 or 04 board promotes community and promotes seperatism.... Why seperate 03 and 04 boards? We are all going through the same thing.... I like the BHB board and I think when you read the posts above, you will hear people really are only using the BHB board and not this--- 03 is really repetitive of that... If I have a question, I will post it in BHB because then i am bound to get many answers- not just 03 brides answers.... And lastly with the addition of the board, what are 05 brides supposed to do?

I don't believe that they are worth it- those boards! I never did! Just my opinion:) This was just a brief history!!! BHB is the BEST!!!

I think it would benefit the new brides more if this board is done away with. They will most likely get confused with this.

Minnie- Thankfully I have picked out the band already, the hall, and the photography, video and florist, and dress... the photographer though I switched once and actually lost my deposit.... Crazy!!! I ended up going with Creative Compositions who is totally expensive but really amazing!!! We blew the budget on them!! FI was so excited about Ken James Band that we went with them! And I just recently found my dress...

Here is an idea for you: for video look at Wild Rose. They are unbelievable and sooo many people are using them. They book up so fast!!!
