So my co-worker comes in today with a face twice the size of a normal face.

He says 'I've got shingles. Look at how my face blew up.'

The entire right side of his face is massively swollen, and he has shingles all over the right side of his forehead, as well as his right eyelid.

I'm getting married in two and a half weeks.

Dude, you couldn't take a sick day?

I've been alcohol swabbing the entire office.

Listen- you're no hero. Sick days are more for the other people in the office- so THEY don't get sick too. Stay the F home. Capisce?

i dont care if its contagious or not..u stay away from him....use holy water,garlic,a silver bullet,show him a picture of me naked,that will scare him off....either way i dont want any germs by u ..

Unless you never had chickenpox, you will not catch shingles. It is a reactivation of your own chicken pox you can't catch it from someone else. If you never got chcken pox and got the vaccine, your immunity may wane and you can get it and than stay away!

Acyclovir is super cheap, so if you do get it, get acyclovir early to prevent scarring.
