I am going for another hair trial with my stylist to try something a little different but I'm trying to decide when I should do it. My mom suggested that if I do it the day of my gown fitting, I may risk getting some of the stuff they use in my hair, on my gown, before the wedding. My hair requires a ton of product to hold! (probably everyone's does) Does anyone else think this could be a problem?

Re: what should I do?
i went and tried on the sample dress after my trials. it's already been tried on by loads of other people with makeup, etc so it wasnt a big deal. maybe you can do that?

honestly I wouldn't wear the dress to get your hair done. Wait I think I might be missing something. Do you mean getting your hair done and then going to try on your dress?

Well, at my fitting it will be MY gown that I ordered to wear on the day of the wedding.. so nobody else has or will wear it.

yup, getting it done and then going to try on my gown for my first fitting. Sorry, I think I made that confusing!

honestly you'll be doing this the day of the wedding..so whats the difference?? I say go for it..so you can see how your hair looks with your dress...certain dresses (especially those with detail) may need an updo, or down, etc

Well, the day of the wedding it won't be a big deal if some product gets on the gown since I won't be wearing it again....... I just am afraid of doing anything to it before the big day!

i know, i was just suggesting that instead of scheduling it for the day of your fitting if you want to see how it looks with 'your' dress you could go a diff day and try it on with the sample dress. I wouldn't risk getting your real dress dirty before the big day.

Re: what should I do?
i might do that - do a final trial the day of my dress fitting - to have an idea of how it will look...do you use products with lots of oil in them? thats the only thing id be worried about getting on the dress...

Re: what should I do?
My salon suggested that i have my trial the same day as my 2nd fitting. My hair will be mostly down, but will have some product in it (hopefully not a lot). I'm a little nervous too, since i'll also have my make up trial that day too. I just have to be super careful when putting it on that day. Now i'm thinking maybe i shouldn't do it the same day!

Can't this just make u crazy?!?! The salon is closed on Sundays and I work all week so the only day I can do it is Saturdays.... and naturally I am so busy for the next few Saturdays so if I can just do it the day of my gown fitting with no worries of getting product on my gown when I try it on, it would be great!
