What should I do? Disappointed rant...

I got married back in 2012...Everything was perfect (or so it seemed) for my wedding...

I hired a photographer/videographer - we had an engagement shoot and photo/video for the wedding.

I got back the engagement shoot pictures, wasn't impressed but I figured it was because my now husband and I are not the most photogenic people...whatever...

Day of the wedding...everything seemed to go well, we got lots of group shots (although I was expecting the photographer to place people in the shot so it looked nice, not just group everyone together and snap...but hey, I was happy everyone was included in the shot and wasn't really worried at that time).

After the wedding is when I started having the real problems...it took forever, and I mean FOREVER to get our photo album and video back. Granted, we did wait almost a year until we picked out the photos and music for the video. We submitted that in March 2013...we didn't get the album or video until DECEMBER 2013. Apparently the owner had a fight with the album company and we had to resubmit all of our picture choices again and then have it sent to another company to be made, etc. So we ended up getting $200 off and a free holiday photo shoot (that never happened). Ok, I was satisfied with that cause we finally had our album and video back...wrong...

The album was beautiful (for the quality of the pictures we got)...but the video???? HORRENDOUS!!!!!!

I was so upset after I watched our video I was in tears.
The volume was not consistent during any part of the video. I literally had to put the volume all the way up to just barely hear the music during the ceremony. And it was edited all wrong. The ceremony was choppy. It showed everyone walking down the isle, not seamlessly, but each person faded out and in...same with the actually ceremony. The deacon was shown talking and faded out mid sentence. Everything was only highlighted. It looked like a high school kid, with no prior experience, edited our video. The reception was terrible too. The same thing as with the ceremony, only highlighted parts and everything was faded in and out incorrectly. The majority of the video was of the dance floor - cause that's what I want to watch for an hour.

So I contacted the company after the holidays in January. They asked me what was wrong with the video so I told them. They told me they would re edit the video and be ready for me to pick up in a few weeks. They also offered the raw video of my entire wedding. After a few weeks I tried calling them, left a message. A few weeks after that I was contacted by them telling me the manager will call me back to set up a meeting so I could get my video. That was in March. I have sent multiple e-mails and called the company and left multiple messages. I have yet to be contacted back by them and it will now be July. I am so upset about this and have no idea what to do next. All I want is my wedding video. We just celebrated our 2 year anniversary and couldn't watch our video.

Has anyone had any experiences like this or any advice on what to do next? Thanks in advance...

Threaten or pursue legal action

This! That and the better business bureau. If I was you, I'd be banging down their door with my FH demanding what you paid a lot of money for. Weddings aren't cheap but we rationalize it by saying it will all be worth it with the finished product AS IT SHOULD BE. Definitely threaten legal action, reviews on every yelp/angies list-type website, and a call to the BBB. This is when it's time to put your bestest b!tch face on ;)
