What should I know or do before I go try on dresses?
I am about to begin my search for the perfect dress.
What should I know before I go? What should I wear or take with me? What questions should i ask?

generally, it's good to have some idea of what you like...in terms of silhouette, neckline, embellishments...and if you can, bring some pictures of dresses you've seen that you like. also, wear a strapless bra and real underwear (no thongs!). Ask how much it costs to get alterations, whether you have to get alterations at the store you buy the dress and how long until the dress comes in. There are probably other things, but this is all I can think of.

Bring: a strapless bra shoes hair tie (it gets hot) Full coverage or boy short underwear (don't wear a thong) Don't go hungry........i get cranky and frustrated when I'm hungry, lol

dont say no to a dress that you never thought you would wear... try every style on... and if you have a budget make sure you tell them!!!!

Bring with you a strapless bra, nude colored underwear that cover your @ss (I wore a thong! ), bottle of water, and clippings of dresses you like.
Try to eat before you go, it's a lot of work taking those dresses off and on. Don't bring a lot of people with you- then you'll have way too many opinions flying around. Keep an open mind. Try on EVERY style. If the saleswoman brings over a dress you wouldn't normally try on, do it anyway. What could it hurt?!

ITA Also, don't forget the dresses run smaller than other clothes you would try on.

I get frustrated when i am hungry also and will totally flip out. Good thing I posted the question
