We just closed on our first home. It was 'as is' and we will need to buy a washer and dryer very soon. I want to make sure I get a washer with enough capacity to wash a king size comforter. Does anyone know what size I should be aiming for? Thanks!
I think the 3.4 or 3.7 ones should be big enough--they are about the same size as a washer at the laundramat (the big ones)

get the biggest one you can find that will fit in the space. You can never have a big enough washer!

We got ours at Sears...great washer and we spent $400. Delivery was free and at the time there was a 12 months no payments thing going on with the Sears card.
I wash my king blankets in it but my comforter I take to the dry cleaner.

I wash my king blankets in it but my comforter I take to the dry cleaner.
We ordered ours from Maytag.... We got the Platinum Maytag Neptune Front load Washer and the lectric dryer. It is quite expensive but I am so happy with it. It washes alot of clothes at once and it holds those king size comforters.
