What song are you and FH geting introcuded to at RH/first dance song question
Just wondering what song everyone plans to be introduced to at the reception. I have one for my bridal party but am having trouble finding something for us!
Also, we have been together for a long time and since we started going out as teenagers our 'song' was/is an Aerosmith Ballad, Angel. I do love the song but think it might be sort of sad/loud as a first dance song. FH wants to use it because he says its sentimental for us....what do you girls think? I am kind of leaning towards using something different as the first dance and then using Angel as a special song where all HS and college sweethearts get up and dance (there are a bunch i can think of that will be at the wedding). Any ideas? Do you think we should just use Angel as the first dance song?

I think either way - using 'Angel' as your first dance or played at some point in the night are both good options. What song would you use for your first dance if you don't use that one?

I'm actually in the same boat as you. Fh and I started dating in high school and had a song (heaven). We were considering picking a new song for our first dance song, but I always go back to that song...like your FH said it is sentimental. IMO, either way, you cant go wrong! Angel is a beautiful song though, so I wouldn't count it out!

My FH name is Rocco and everyone calls him Rocky so we are thinking of walking into the Rocky Theme! Not sure of a first dance song yet. Havent got a clue!

I was thinking 'Then' by Brad Paisly...it is a beautiful song but FH doesn't love country. It's not completely country bumpkin though so he might agree. I have a feeling we will end up with Angel...like you said its sentimental - and I do love the song i was just concerned that it was a sad sounding song haha.

I love 'Then.' The words are beautiful. Thats on my list too, but I don't think FH will care for it. He's not into country either.

We're dancing our first dance to Aerosmith's Angel!!!!! It has special meaning to our relationship, going all the way back to our first date. So there was no question for us.

At this time, I am thinking I Gotta Feeling by the Black Eye Peas.
but it can always change...
For our first dance song, I am thinking of Kissing You by D'siree.

We're going to be introduced to Best of My Love by the Emotions. When I was a little girl I use to go around the house singing it and the words are perfect for our entrance.
I think having 'Angel' as a song all your friends get up and dance to is a great idea.

Lsorrent : Angel goes all the way back to our first date too...now I am getting sentimental! haha. I love a lot of other songs but you are right it is more meaningful to have a song that you and your FH can relate to.

THe intros are to the theme song to the movie snatch ( it was playing when we first kissed) and then our 1st dance is when you say you love me by josh groban. I love his voice and the song is so romantic!
