I am walking down to an a song in Hebew- called Everyone Has. (Lechol Echad Yaish) It is a very intense song about love. It has a lovely melody. Violins and all.

I am only using one song for all the processional. It was written by a friend of mine and I am having 6 of my friends sing it accapella. I know that most people attending will at first be confused by the fact that there is no change of music(other then intensity), but it will be listed in the programs. Heck, if they see me in a white dress walking down the stairs and don't realize I am the bride they probably should not be at my wedding.

I'm walking in to Canon in D, played by a harpist... the bridal party will (hopefully) be coming into an instrumental of Bocelli's Con Te Partiro.

I'm doing the reverse. I will come in to Con te Partiro & my BP will come into Cannon in D

i was thinking of walking into 'Here and Now' by Luther Vandross and walking out to 'At Last' by Etta James. My fi is not a luther fan but I think the way it starts and the words are perfect for his bride to come to him. Who cares, he'll be so taken by my beauty he probably won't hear the song.

Some things I am keeping traditional, and this is one of them. I am walking down to here comes the bride.

I'm walking into trumpet voluntary and the bp will walk into air in f major -- the church doesn't give us much leeway here

we'll probably be traditional as well
BP: Trumpet Voluntary
Me: Here comes the Bride
recessional: Wedding March (i think that's what it's called) - the traditional recessional song

and we requested Greensleeves when we do the unity candle - we love that song.

I loved everyone else's choices as well!

I used:
Jesu, Joy of Man's Desire (Bach) for seating of parents
Canon in D (Pachelbel) for bridal party processional
Trumpet Voluntary (Clarke) for my processional
Tune and Air (Purcell) for our recessional

I had parents and MOH walk in to BAch's Violin Concerto in G Minor (only had an MOH) absolutely beautiful song.

I did Here Comes the Bride. I thought about it and decided that I had always imagined that song whne I was a little girl thinking about my wedding, so I had to use it :)

We 'recessed' to the Arrival of the Queen of Sheba
