what song are you walking down to...

For you ladies who are not using 'here comes the bride', what song will you be walking down the aisle to?? I've never been to a wedding where the bride did not walk down to this song, well, except for my Aunt. But that's bc she married in a greek orthodox church and she walked down to a greek chant. Anyone have any suggestions or been to ceremony where a bride walked down to another song??

I'm walking down the aisle to the instrumental version of Ave Maria. My mom walked down the aisle to that song and I just love it!

im walking down the aisle to the instrumental version of lay lady lay by bob dylan.

my dad was a huge fan of bob dylan(which made the whole family addicted) and i wanted to include him in every way possible since hes not here

when i told my pastor he was like, hmmmmm like lay across my big brass bed?? i was like

This is a beautiful song! great choice and it's so nice that you get to walk down to the same song your mother also used. I always get all teary eyed when I hear this song. lol

haha...I can't believe he said that! That's cool that you're walking down to that song, it's differerent and it has significance. I hope to pick a song that make me and fh and family smile, I don't want any tears only bc all the women in my family are criers..lol...especailly when they hear 'here comes the bride' ..if I see them crying, I'm gonna get all emotional and cry.

Those are great songs.....'All you need is love' always reminds me of the movie 'Love actually', when they play the song at the end of the wedding ceremony.

These are also great songs. I was acually thinking of Bitter Sweet Symphony after they pronounce us husband and wife....lol.. You're idea is great. Will you're DJ be providing your music at the ceremony?

i was set on canon in d and i cried everytime i heard it b/c i would picture myself walking down the aisle swore that is what i would walk too....

there was another song i liked but i wasn't sure about it - but i have been humming this since i'm a little kid and always loved it - its once upon a dream from sleeping beauty (the song she sings when she is in the woods).....

so like a week before the wedding i try finding that song on you tube in string (b/c we were having a string trio) i was only able to find it on piano though....but then i loved that song too.....

i made up my mind about 15 mins before the ceremony - the string trio played like 5 seconds of once upon a dream for me and i was sold....so my girls walked to the beginning of canon in D and i came out to once upon a dream - i am SO GLAD that is what i chooose....something unique to me....

I am walking down to 'Kissing You' by Des'ree from the Romeo and Juliet movie with Leonadrdo DiCaprio and Claire Danes. I am definitely going to cry. After the ceremony, 'All You Need is Love' will be played.
