What songs are you requesting for your reception??
FH and I are making a list for our band and DJ.. Any suggestions?? We are looking for upbeat dance songs (new age or oldies)... TIA!!

i have my list for each 'event' (intros, first dance, cake, garter, bok, etc) but we also have a few 'must play' songs..
so far..
Shout - Isley bros Sweet Caroline - neil diamond we didn't start the fire- billy joel save a horse, ride a cowboy- big and rich (we're country fans haha) don't stop believeing- journey feedback- janet jackson
yea, they are all pretty much a 'given'. but we want to make sure :)

See we are doing the opposite. We are giving him a list of what songs not to play. No group dance or corny songs. You can google common wedding songs to get ideas. That's what I did for what songs I didn't want played.

We're requesting a lot of oldies (Motown, British Invasion, etc.) and lots of newer club songs.
Specifically:
World Hold On by Bob Sinclair Crazy in Love by Beyonce Young Folks by Peter Bjorn and John Gimme More by Britney Spears
Anything Go! Team Anything Michael Jackson Related Anything Daft Punk Anything Madonna Anything Timbaland worked on
