What songs did you request that the DJ play?

I'm trying to come up with a list of good songs to play and I'm going blank. And how many were on your list? Any ideas??

Vinny from High Voltage is our DJ. He told us not to think of specific songs unless there is a favorite that HAS to be played. You will know it because you didn't have to think about that one. Like we want Paradise By the Dashboard Light. Some people think it's cheesy, but it's one of our favorites. Other than that, we are mostly telling him types of music and letting him do his thing. We will say 'play 80's dance, and anything by Genesis and Billy Joel' and let him decide what will work best. I think it's easier this way.

I did let my mother put together a list of songs and some I will veto but I think it's a good idea to have some suggestions from another age group ...

My DJ gave me lists of songs for all different topics - First Dance, Mother/Son, dance music, dinner music, etc. He said it was just a list of ideas for us and we could of course ask for any song we want.

I know this must sound strange but i am going to come up with some and a list of DEFINATE NOTS but after that i am going to let them mix it up. My friend used my DJ ans we had a blast so i am not worried.

I added a mom and Daughter song, because I just love my mom so much, and I just wanted to dedicate a song to her, and surprise her..

MY MOH song.. I've never heard of this either, but, we are the bestest of friends, we've been through everything, and 'our' song is
Simply the best, so I thought I would dedicate a song for her!!! I can't give toasts, I'll throw up.. so I'm dedicating a few songs
