What songs do you think should absolutely NOT be played at a wedding?
For me, regardless of how much fun they both are, “I Will Survive” and “Paradise by the Dashboard Light” are COMPLETE no-no’s!
Anything else?

I agree about the 'Paradise' song....
Also, there will be a BAN on Ceilene Dion, also no 'Celebrate' or whatever the hell that song is called, NO 'Cha, Cha Slide', 'YMCA', or 'Macerana'.
I know there's more...

I'm undecided..... see, here's the thing about those songs. They get EVERYONE up dancing, and they make for great pictures..... that's why I'm torn.

I'm a jerk because I read the title as 'What songs do you think should absolutely NOT be played at YOUR wedding?' not 'A' wedding....
Ceilene DIon is appropriate for weddings.....just not mine.

I know! I know everyone would be up and singing along with Paradise (for some reason, it was kinda my all girl’s high school unofficial theme song) but the lyrics, especially “I’m paying for the end of time so I can end my time with you” just don’t sit right with me!

Seriously, i think our DO NOT play list is longer than our PLAY list. It includes everything from Billy Joel, to Black Eyed Peas, to Cotton Eye Joe to the Electric and Cha Cha slides, to Shania and Celine... we're really picky. I could FM you the whole list if you'd like!

Ah, the Cotton Eye Joe! I think I may have to play that…it’s a long running joke between my FH and I since the band that performs the most popular version is Swedish and one band member even comes from FH’s hometown!

PARDISE IS #1 on my DO PLAY LIST lol <<-----huge meat loaf fan!!!!! lol
But as for do not play........ Chicken dance, macerena, Any version of the song open arms ( FHs song with his ex) and i am sure FH will come up with a few more lol
