What songs do you think should absolutely NOT be played at a wedding?

For me, regardless of how much fun they both are, “I Will Survive” and “Paradise by the Dashboard Light” are COMPLETE no-no’s!

Anything else?

ok im not going to lie i love the cha cha slide LOL so that will be played at my wedding...but no chicken dance, celebration, last dance

actually i might have that played as well...my sisters love it (they are younger than us) and I have an 9 yr old brother who is sooo funny on the dance floor- he was break dancing to that song and other songs on the dance floor at our e-party...

So it might make for good pics

Sorry to anyone who is using those songs, it's just MO

No offense taken because for my father daughter dance we are going to fake the crowd out by starting with the chicken dance then go straight over to Hero!

We just want to keep our guests guessing and having a great time!

NO group dances (Macarena, Electric Slide, Cha Cha Slide, Chicken Dance, etc.)

Last Dance is really overplayed - at our e-party the DJ played 'Save the Last Dance for Me' by Michael Buble - it was a nice change.

the hokey pokey ,i attended a wedding recently and first thet did the chicken dance and following that the hokey pokey , i was shocked, it was horrrrrible. that is definately not for my wedding. i'm still sick by it.

Oh, that’s a great song…I know The Platters version, but I’m sure they all sound great. I wasn’t even thinking of that song, now I have to include it—thanks for reminding me!
