Colonial or Split Level, but I'm leaving NY just not worth the money.

yeah i'm leaving NY also..i wanna move to Cali (which is JUST as expensive...omg but so nice) or north carolina..i've heard wonderful things about it there...but i love tudor homes...so nice!

i would love a colonial, or an all brick house... I love brownstones too, but in NY it ain't happening...

I am in the mortgage business...let me tell you people are MOVING!!! No one wants to be on LI with all these prices. Its INSANE!! FH and I are looking at GA or FL. We just cannot afford houses out here!

LI is having a REAL problem keeping their 20-30-somethings here. It's too expensive for most of us to stay. Although the County Execs know about this problem, and it's impact on the future of the Island, they have yet to do anything about it.

We will be leaving. No way can we afford a home on one salary so I can stay home and raise babies!
