we just got an invite to my cousin's baby's baptism, and first of all the invite says to 'my mom, me and family' uhhhh what the helll does that mean? what about my sister? and why did they put my name there? Shouldnt my stpedad's name be there helloooooo!!???
then i just realized this morning im not invited with a guest, IM FREAKIN ENGAGED!!!!!!!! how incredibly rude is this, or am i just overreacting?

Things are costly these days, so if i get invited somewhere without FH, I understand. I think it gets iffy, I mean when my brother was engaged he was invited to a family event with his fiance. I was not invited with FH, though while we werent engaged, we had been together, and living together for many years.

you know what if they werent well off i would completely understand, BUT they are and they need to stop being cheapos and learn how to address a freakin envelope!!!! youd think theyd know after their wedding geez

They obviously don't know how to address things.
I would RSVP that your man is coming too. If they say something then bring up how you are engaged and thats kinda rude to him who will be THEIR family too in a year

is there a formal rsvp? just rsvp for everyone and see what they say

i just called my cousin who is MARRIED and does NOT live with her mom lol, and she didnt get a seperate invite, it just said her mom and family.... can we say CHEAP much???!!!!!!!!!!
