that is sooo weird and the same thing sort of happened to me too... a very close family friend of FH's got married last month and on the outside invite it said so-and-so family... on the inside it had his mom and dad's names, Fh's name and his bro's name... what about me?? They knew he was engaged, and they know me!! I thought it was very weird and I was insulted... FH ended up just going to the church and not the reception because he was like what am i gonna do there without you?
In addition, they are going to be invited to our wedding!! So maybe I should I just invite her and not her husband?? Sheesh!

Whenever FH gets an invite from someone in his family it's always addressed 'Frank and Guest'. It annoys me to no end that I don't have a name... like, we're only engaged........

hahahah Joanna... FH and I dont go if we dont get our own invitation. We also don't go if the invite is addresses to Mr. FH and GUEST!! We've been together for 7 years you should know my name!! ...

ehh joanna.. for greeks its understoood. u bring who u want. invitation etiquette doesnt apply to us.
just have ur mom call them and LET them knwo ur bringing ur fh. dont even have her ask.
and for shyts n giggles, the day of the baptism.. have ur family play a trick on ur sis.. tell her that shes at a diff table #... with the toddlers lol

i honestly think its so rude if your FH is not invited. I can see if its just a boyfriend or whatever but I personally feel that Fiance's and Spouses should ALWAYS be invited!

yeah but theyre not really greeky greek lol hes half greek half spanish and shes american!!!!! that greekster excuse goes out the window with them lollollll ill prob just tell them though that im bringing fh and make em feel dumb ha!

that is strange...yea esp. if you are engaged how could they not tell you to bring a guest...weird. well if you think thats bad, my aunt and grandmother got invited to a bridal shower...but me and my mom werent invited. them me and my mom and gma were invited to the WEDDING and my aunt wasent!!! gotta love family

his NONOS FIRST name was BUTCHERED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.. so yea.. anythign is possible. cut them some slack lololllll

yeah weve had that happen before, but i think what they did was rude, forget about me not having a guest but what about my step dad and my sister? why address it to me and my mom and family? i dont know i think its rude and she should definitely know better
to my aunt whose divorced they wrote her name and family which is acceptable but they didnt even send one to her married daughter and husband who live elsewhere, i think its a little ridiculous
