It's definitely a dark yellow, kind of bordering on brown, kind of like honey. If you've ever seen like a bug frozen in a yellow stone... that's Amber.

Amber is in the yellow family. On the traffic signals the yellow is considered amber. (The NYCDOT employee is coming out in me)

NO!! lol I did but then when I googled amber uplighting it was all different colors that I saw so then I asked barb she told me red because of the missing child amber alert and then I got completely confused....

Per wikipedia - Amber is an orange-yellow color that got its name from the material known as amber. Due to this, amber can refer not to one but to a series of shades of orange, since the natural material varies from nearly yellow when newer to orange or reddish-orange when older.
