I always called them Mr. and Mrs. so and so and now that we're married i have no idea what to call them! I feel funny calling them by their first names and I REFUSE to call someone Mom and Dad that arent my real parents! Since the wedding, I havent called them anything. I addressed their TY's as Mom and Dad D! Help!!!!

I'll prob end up calling them by their first names although they always introduce themselves on the phone as mom and dad. I just can't call them that - not comfortable with it at all!

If the occasion comes up, their first names, but we don't really see them often enough for it to be an issue... so I guess I really call them nothing. Thats awful, right? DH calls my parents by their first names.

first names...My MIL runs around telling everyone that she finally has a daughter and while that's nice and all I kind of want to deck her because last time I checked, I already had parents...
as a result, out of principle I refuse to call her mom and don't expect DH to call my parents mom and dad either..

So funny, exactly how I feel!! She signed my b-day card Love, 'Mom' (she used the quotes), because she's pushing for me to call her that, but I won't!! I HAVE A MOM!! I have called her by her first name for a few years, and will continue to do so. But when we wrote our thank you to her, I addressed it as 'mom', because it was from both of us. But for things just from me & when I address her, it will be her first name!

Right now I call them Mr. & Mrs. xxx, but after the wedding I am not sure what I will call them. Ever since we got engaged, my FMIL calls me on my cell phone to talk about the wedding, or my registry, or something, and she always says 'this is your future mother-in-law', so I don't know if she will want me to call her mom after the wedding, which I would love to do. I guess I will have to see what happens.

ill say 'hey cutie ' to his mom
or
'helllllo!' to his dad
when we have a baby we will call them grandma and grandpa and that seems to work so i will hang in ther until then!

I go back and forth, right now I call her by her first name and then sometimes first name, I am an indecisive person but I joke around now and call her at times mama (FH's last name), he calls my mom by her first name and then he also made up a funny one called 'momgela' and my father's name he added an extention to his name also, we are not conventional people!
