Eveyone is my office is talking about how teens have them, it's the hottest thing and I have no clue what it is.
And I feel like an idiot asking them what it is!

It's an online journal of sorts, where you post commentaries or info about anything. I think you send people your 'blog' (url) and they can post to you.

I am not 100% sure though.

Yeah, from what I understand it is sort of like what Claud said. I'm not exactly sure how teens are using it. DH uses blogs when he makes websites so clients can manage the content of the site w/o using him. In this case, it works like a text editor but updates the content in the HTML without having to touch any code.

That's where my FH's twin siblings (15 year old boy and girl) have their blogs. Apparantly they are very popular amongst the teens nowadays.

It's very similar to LIW but also with a mix of the old school AOL chatrooms with the added element of having your own page that you can write on and add to everyday.
Others can read it, and comment on what you wrote.
