They are basically a hate group that uses their church ties to try to get people to take them seriously. They also use their first amendment rights to try to spread their messages of hate.

These people are sick and disgusting and should be sent to a desert island for the rest of their lives!

They were supposed to be protesting Mepham this morning - on the grounds that Mepham is a breeding ground for gays.

I don't know if they actually did anything...anyone know?

They must have because i live about 3 minutes from the school and this morning when i woke up there was a helicopter circling for like an hour and then some lady in 7/11 said that there was a protest at the school..

They did protest at the HS, I think its horrible what they are doing. I know its their first ammendment but what do gays have to do with what happened to those poor boys.

Its horrible really, they are turning this into a hate crime against gays and it has nothing to do with it. The problem is that these teenagers that did the hazing have issues with control and victimized 2 innocent boys and the teachers were aware and did nothing.

They were talking about on Channel 4 this morning and they were saying that they are protesting there because they knew that they could get media coverage!!

I think it is disgusting and they should go back to Kansas.

While I appreciate the right to protest these people are sick and traumatizing to those students attacked, a community that is suffering and more importantly disruptive to a school that needs to be able to get back to being a school!!!

They were there this morning, but there were not many of them at all. It was disgusting and very sad. They actually have their children holding up signs that said 'God hates America' and 'God blew up the space shuttle' The kids with them couldn't have been older than 10.

They are taking the crime of rape and trying to make it a gay issue. Sick people.

Did anyone see those people? They look like white trash sorry. But they need to go back to their little hole and stay there.

And why are their children holding up signs about hate? Isnt their a law protecting kids against this?

I think its horrible, they are dragging the gays into this and it has nothing to do with htem.

They are by no means a religous group- they are a cult. They are anti-everyone who is not them. I went this morning and they were not big thang. Not even worth the time! It is just meaningless garbage.

I'm all for the 1st ammendment right - but I draw the line at hate speech. What about my rights? No one asked me about my rights when there was a KKK flyer in my mail last summer!!?!!

(Ugh, I know I'm asking a rhetorical question and it's moot to even pose it...but I'm just so damn disgusted by these extremists.)

PS - All religions start as a cult...the very definition of cult is a 'formal religious veneration'. It's gotta start somewhere, right?

Not all religions are a cult.
Unfortunately people use the name of God in extremist and judgemental ways and it does give religious values a bad name. As far as other religious groups getting involved...I doubt anyone would touch the statement that group was making this morning. What happened at the high school was just a stupid, senseless act and has nothing to do with religion.
