If you are getting (or got) married at your RH, what time will/did your ceremony start? Thanks!

Re: What time?
We are getting married on a Saturday. The ceremony will start at 3:00 p.m. and the Reception will start at 7:00 p.m. (cocktail hour). This will give us plenty of time to go take pictures by Shea Stadium!!!!

did you find the extra half hour to be helpful? Im worried about the ceremony starting really late and then everything being pushed back b/c we're doing our CH immediately after the ceremony.

Re: What time?
I've tossed this around as well. I've decided to put the actual start time so the invitation will be a keepsake with the real start time. Also, I'm a prompt person when it comes to this stuff and I've waited around for 45 minutes before, wishing I wasn't there so early. I plan to walk down the aisle within 10 minutes of the time my invite says no matter who isn't there yet.

This is what our RH told us to do and it worked out fine for us. Our cocktail hr. started immediately after the ceremony. As far as I know, there were no late comers to the ceremony and everything started exactly on time.
We are put 11:30 on the invites w/ cocktail starting at noon- but I will be there at early taking our photos before the service. And who ever is not there then o well- TT and I am telling the staff not to let anyone in after the service starts no distractions!!!

Re: What time?
6:30 ceremony. There is a wedding right before ours, so nobody can come early -- we can only get there an hour before, so we wrote 'Promptly at 6:30' on the invite, and stressed that again on our website and direction cards. We'll probably start 5-10 minutes late on purpose to allow for latecomers. then cocktail hour 7-8, reception 8-12. Sunday night.

Re: What time?
My reception hall has strict rules that you can't put on the invite that it starts 1/2 hour before the actual start time (or how ever long you want to put to ensure guests get there on time). It is in my contract that I HAVE to submit a invite to the hall at I think my 3 month mark or they wont go further with the planning till they receive one!
