Our ceremony started at 5pm and that's what the invitation said. I'd be pisssed if I went to a wedding and had to sit around for a half-hour waiting for it to start.

I've tossed this around as well. I've decided to put the actual start time so the invitation will be a keepsake with the real start time. Also, I'm a prompt person when it comes to this stuff and I've waited around for 45 minutes before, wishing I wasn't there so early. I plan to walk down the aisle within 10 minutes of the time my invite says no matter who isn't there yet.
Same here! I find it rude that people wouldnt show up on time for something like this. Why should I make my guests who WERE on time wait for those who werent? I put the actual time on the invite, and that's when I plan on walking down the aisle!!
