What time are May brides starting their ceremony?

I can not make this choice!!!!!

I know the sunset isn't until 8:17 p.m.

But I don't want to start the wedding until late especially since we're getting married at the hall....

My dad thinks it should be early in the day, but I don't want our first dance to be in sunlight.

Ceremony at 3pm
Cocktail hour at 7pm
Reception 8 to 12

ok question for all of you...

any suggestions on what to do with all the guests for the lag time in between??

Mom is bugging out that no one is going to show up at the church cause there's too much time in between....

anything that you can add will be SO helpful!
