What time are May brides starting their ceremony?
I can not make this choice!!!!!
I know the sunset isn't until 8:17 p.m.
But I don't want to start the wedding until late especially since we're getting married at the hall....
My dad thinks it should be early in the day, but I don't want our first dance to be in sunlight.

We are having our ceremony at 12:15pm. We wanted to have it early as there are a lot of 'older' people coming to the wedding.

My ceremony is at 11:30. Cocktail hour is right after at 12.

Cocktail Hour is from 7-8
Reception is from 8-12

Ceremony at Church is at 3pm and Cocktail hour begins at 6pm; Reception from 7-12.

hmmm ok, so now I'm thinking, ceremony invite at 5, start 5:30 then 6:30 cocktail until 8 and reception 8-12, extra 'party' hour until 1 am.

Our ceremony will start at 6:30pm followed immediately by the cocktail hour (7-8pm) and then the reception (8-midnight)

seems like most evening weddings are doing 8-12.

Is that good or too random? Should I do the ceremony at 6?
