What time are you getting your make-up done?

Hi Ladies,
I am in some need of advice. My wedding is at four pm but we are taking pics at 1:30. By what time should my make-up be done?

I was thinking of having my make-up artist come to my house by 9 a.m.-9:30 so I could be done around 10:30? Is that too early?

I think your timing pretty good. I'm having hair and makeup done starting at 8:30 - my ceremony is 3:00 with pictures starting at 12:00 so we are on a pretty close track.

are u guys taking pics before the ceremony w/ your fh's??? mine is at 3:30, duet shows up around 1:30 i think so i would figure maybe 11 ish, or 10:30, the later i can sleep the better hahaha

Yea, all pictures are being done before the ceremony. We want to maximize our party time! Besides we've been living together for years so we are trying to be practical. He won't see me until I'm totally dressed and the photographer is prepped to get the shot of his face when he sees me for the first time.

My makeup is getting done at 2:15 Pm and the photographer arrives at 3:30 PM. I want to look freash so we are waiting till the last minute

you're all lucky - my makeup person is coming at 5:30 a.m. - we have to be out the door by 7:30 a.m. to have pics taken before our ceremony at 11:00
talk about no sleep!!!

We have to be ready to take pictures by 9:30 am...so we are starting at the butt crack of dawn.

welp my church was at 430 and pics were at 3 at my house so I had to have my hair done at 1030 and my makeup was done at 1230.

My pics were at 9 and my wedding at 11:30 and my makeup was started at 7:30 I think.

I think its too early. Makeup was the last thing I had done besides slipping my dress on. My lipstick was great but came off fast. I would see if you can buy the lipstick color you plan on using so you can reapply.
