What time does your wedding start???

Just curious..


what time does your wedding start? Not the actual ceremony but the cocktail hour and how long does your reception last till??

thanks just curious

our cocktail hour is at 8:30pm (fri night)
and the reception starts at 9:30pm and goes till 1:30am

we are doing a sunday evening and it will start at 7pm- which seems late to me for a sunday- i think your time is perfect for a friday

Its late!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but we have a hospitality hour at 7:30

7-8 cocktail hour
8-12 reception

7-8 ceremony
8-9 cocktail hour
party ends at 1AM

cocktail 8-9
reception 9-1

actually now that I think of it JT did say the guests can arrive early because they will have champagne and strawberries waiting in the hospitality room

Me too!!! Is yours on a Sun? I want to extend it, I wonder how WM deals with that. I dont want it to end

ETS: but I heard that if your guests arrive early the WM willl open the CH 1/2 hour early so maybe your guests will have a 1 1/2 total CH, which would be very nice

YAH!! I thought our wedding was the only one which started after 7:30pm lolol

I am glad...because I know my FMIL already said something to FH. But it is because she hates going out and spending forever at one place. Like anytime there is a family function she is ready to leave after being there for an hour

But it's her sons wedding=she can deal!!!!

CH starts at 12:30
Reception starts at 1:30
Reception ends at 5:30

unless I have a viennesse hour, I dunno yet...

yOU KNOW WHAT It works out for my guests...because greek people come late and never leave.....and also....I had a surprise 60th bday for my m om last nite..and NOONE would leave..we went over our time....noone wanted to stop dancing LMAO...FH was saying how the dancefloor will be packed the day of our wedding!

yes mine is a sunday! yeah they told us that they would start it early if alot of guest were there. which is good. more time!!
