what time is your hair/makeup starting?

I have 8 girls, plus both my mom and my FMIL doing hair and makeup- we are going to a salon where there will be 3 hairdressers working on us, so hair will go quickly. but we have 1 for makeup.... originally the hair place said 9-12 would be perfect and that way we can go back home and relax/have lunch before the photographer comes and takes pics of us before the ceremony at 3pm. But I didn't factor that makeup is going to take much longer than 3 hours for that many girls...

So, we could start around 8am now in hopes we are done by 2pm which is cutting it really close, or we can hire an assistant for an additional $150 that day to make it go a little quicker. Just wanted to see what your timelines are looking like and how early you'll have to start!
