What time is your reception ending (Night weddings)

I have a choice of having my reception end at 12 or 12:30....I would like 12 30 because it gives me an extra half hour, but I am concerned that people will leave thinking it ends at 12 or when they hear the band keep playing will get bored because they think it is going until 1.....What time does your reception end??

we are doing an extra hour so ours ends at 1 a.m.

Mine ends at either 11 or 12 (depending on whether we add the extra hr or not).

What time does your reception start? I think it's fine to add an extra half hour. You can spread out all of the things to be done at the reception accordingly so nobody will even notice! Since you are having bagpipers as well, it's a good idea since that will take some time up at the reception (that's my FH's rationale about increasing our reception 30 minutes and our cocktail hour 30 minutes).

FH wanted full viennese and I wanted an extra hour for it. He got what he wanted, I didn't, so we are ending at midnight.

Ours ends at 12:30 as well.

Ours is from 6:30 to 10:30.

7-1 w. cocktail hr and Vienese HR. I might extend to 2 if everyone is still partying.

Ceremony is at 7:00 and reception ends at 12:30

I have the choice of either having my cocktail hour start at 6:30 or 7:00--so it would end at either 12 or 12:30--since its a Friday I thought starting at 7 would be better for anyone who had to work.
