my wedding is officially a year away! already booked reception/ceremony; photo/video; dj; bridal gown. what should i tackle next? florist, limos? bridesmaid gowns? or perhaps hair and makeup? what do you guys think?

Wow!!! you are prepared! My suggestion would be bridesmaid gowns before anything so you know your colors and can bring a swatch to the florist.

i would say florist or bridesmaid dresses. And btw i booked the florist and havent gotten bm dresses...i told her what color they will be and that was fine...plus at anytime she will change anything so doesn't matter

I would choose either florist or BM gowns--usually florists ask what colors your BMs are wearing so that they can try to coordinate everything.

I would book the rest in the following order:
florist limos hair & make-up BM & FG dresses
start thinking about booking honeymoon (I would book AT LEAST 6 months prior to the wedding)

book hair and make-up soon.... everyone get's snatched up so early... I waited, and had limited choices when it was 5 months away from the ceremony
limos can probably wait the longest... we had no problems getting exactly what we wanted 5 months before our wedding...

I say do BM dresses first then the flowers. I recently went to the florist and they asked me my BM colors so they can do their bo-k and I am not sure of what they are wearing yet. Then I would book makeup then the limos come last

start looking at BM dresses, and definitely honeymoon!!!! It doesn't hurt to look at florists.

florist, followed by hair and makeup. Those usually get booked early. The limos were one of the last things I booked. You have your officent too?
