Has anyone carried anything down the aisle besides a bouquet of Flowers? I am getting married in the winter and I just don't know if Flowers are my thing.
Any ideas?

i was a bm in a wedding in may and we carried parasols (sp?)
would that work for a winter wedding???
parasols are more spring/summer IMO.

I don't know how to post pictures yet. I'll try to figure it out by this weekend. I'll try to describe it: they were about 10 inches high. Black with orange/gold glass. A small round handle on top. Even though the tea light was fake, they looked real when they 'flickered' The box says item # 33145, but I don't know where she bought them (she's still on her HM) Hope this helps a little.

OK---one more thing about the lanterns---- I noticed pictures of them being carried down along the side. We held ours in front (about where a bouquet would be) Index finger through handle.
