Since you only invited them because it was' the right thing to do', I'd say forget em.

if you will need them for a reference, you should still invite them.

i would still send them an invite, chances are if you lose touch once you leave the job they probably wont attend the wedding. but at least you offered.

I agree... don't send them an invite.
I am only inviting two co-workers and they do not include my immediate supervisor or other mgr.!!

If you sent a STD, you need to invite them. You've asked them to hold the date for your wedding! Maybe they won't come since you don't work there anymore, but you definitely have to invite the, - esp. since you still need them for a reference!

Re: What to do... .
even though you sent them a STD I don't think you need to invite them. that's why I didn't bother even sending STD's. Who knows what will happen between now and three months before the wedding when you're sending out the actual invites?
I say no, you do not have to invite them if you are no longer in contact. They will know that they haven't seen or heard from you. And, might even think it's weird for them to be invited if you no longer have a relationship.
just my opinion, but you do what you feel is right in the end

I agree...if you sent a STD they have to come.
We are giving the STD at the engagement party. That way those that don't come to the party, don't necessarily have to be invited to the wedding. We figured that would be a good way to cut the list down if needed!

Re: What to do... .
Nope, I disagree...they will know that you sent the STD bc you were coworkers - unless you were very friendly with them, which it doesn't seem like you were. When I get a wedding invitation, if I can't make it, I always send a gift....I feel like they will say no, and then be obligated to send a gift. I wouldn't even stress over it, but I know everyone disagrees with me! This is why I only think STD's should be sent to out of towners who you KNOW you want there, since they have to make travel plans.....otherwise, I think a lot of times your list needs to be fine tuned before the invites go out, and a lot of people find themselves in this predicament!

I think you still need to invite them to the wedding. It would be really rude not to after sending them a save the date.

I also agree that they should be invited to the wedding. Even though you are leaving, you don't want to burn any bridges (in case you need references, etc.).
I agree!!

Ok, an update! I left this job and my last two weeks, these women made me miserable! They didn't talk to me b/c they were going to have more to do! So as much as I know it is right to invite them, I'm not. I do not want them at the happiest day of my life.

Ohh, that's tough. Like many of the other girls said, I think that because you sent the a STD, you really should invite them to the wedding.
After you leave this job, do you think you will ever talk to them again? Well, either way, I would still invite them. Think about it this way though - its only 2 people, and maybe they won't even end up coming!

Just saw this now!!! Hey, you do what you think is best. If they made your life miserable the last 2 weeks, then they are definitely NOT worthy of being invited!!!

In my opinion I wouldn't invite them! If you're never going to see them, or work with them again why would you want them there? If you don't talk to them outside work then I say forget it. Invite 2 other people you'd rather have there.
