Ok, I sent save the date magnets to my supervisor at work and another lady in my department, but I am quitting this job to go to another job starting Feb. 21st. What should I do about inviting them to the wedding. I invited them because it was the 'right thing to do', but I won't keep in touch with them once I leave here. My FH thinks I should still send them an invitation. What do you girls think?
Since you asked them to save the date, you should invite them to the wedding.
Since you sent a STD then I would invite them to the wedding. If enough time passes they may not attend but then again they might want to see you and wish you well.
I also agree that they should be invited to the wedding. Even though you are leaving, you don't want to burn any bridges (in case you need references, etc.).
i woudnt send them one... i'm sure they know they're no longer invited.

Yeah..I would say since they got an STD then they should get an invite...
I wouldn't send them one unless you are going to still have some sort of contact with them. They would understand if they are not invited after you leave.
Thanks ladies! I haven't even been there a year. I moved here last January and started in Feb. I got the job through my future sister in law. It is just a really bad department to work in, no procedures and they take advantage of you. I will still need for them reference. I hate tough decision!

When are you leaving, and will you talk to them after that. I'd say that even though you sent the a STD, if you're not keeping in contact, there's really no point....

You sent them a save the date. You HAVE to invite them. It would be so rude and discourteus not to. I think you just have to eat it and invite them, A list. Beyond the reference thing,you don't want to treat someone badly, you know? chances are if you've lost touch with the, they won't come anyway....
I think since you sent them a STD it's only right to invite them. Plus you never know when you'll need them again.
