Re: What To Do???
If you know you are going to engaged...yes.
We are engaged...but only verbally. FH is in Iraq so I won't be getting a ring until this summer. If you know for a fact you will be engaged and have talked about it...and September is when you want it..yes. That way you lock into this years prices and reserve your date.
Otherwise if you are not sure...talk it over with the significant other...HTH

Book your hall first. Even if you have to change your date the hall should be able to accomodate. Good luck!

Re: What To Do???
I would say start with your hall. September is a busy month. After that I would say SAVE SAVE SAVE. You can start looking at vendors if you want but I would hold off on booking them till after its official. Good Luck!! Keep us updated.

Re: What To Do???
One thing I would do is start saving $$. That is something that should start as soon as your engaged (if money is tight) The next thing I'd do, like the other girls mentioned, is look into a hall. That is usually the first things to do since it all works around that. Good Luck and I hope you get engaged in Disney!!

i'm absolutely POSITIVE this is the man im spending the rest of my life with and he feels the same way (well im not a man haha) he's just waiting until we're in disney he kinda slipped up.. i opened up a savings account with ing and i'm gonna deposit money every week into it and hopefully it'll build alot of interest by september/october. now my FH is pushing for october mid october. isnt it really cold then? where is everyone having their reception?? i have no idea where to actually look. this is a dumb question but you have to make an appointment to look at places right?

Re: What To Do???
Congrats Kimmie!!
I would make a preliminary list so that when you go to the halls, (yes, you should make an appointment), you will have an idea about how many people you are going to have.. Mid October still has beautiful weather.. I booked at Westbury Manor bc they have beautiful grounds to take pictures (hopefully it won't rain!! ) and they have a bigger room for the 200+ people and a smaller room (mine) that holds up to 150.. and use the knot to look at dresses and save ones you like.. hmmm what else.. let me think.. brb
