What is everyone doing about inviting people from work? Doing it or not doing it? Or just inviting certain people? HELP!

I'm inviting the people I work closely with...I'm in a small department so it's not too much of a problem...BUT I would in two offices...and I'm not inviting anyone from my one office....this may cause drama but I don't care!!!!!

This is a hard one for me as well. I definitely want certain people there but I am certainly not inviting the entire office. I think that I will just invite my close friends that I speak to and associate with outside of the office.

i work in family buisness that consists of family and employees , i have known the employees my whole life and they have known me since I am a child so i have to invite everyone at work

I am but just a handful of ppl. Its a really hard decision but im sure my count will change when it gets closer.

its hard for me cuz theres only 9 people in the office but with their spouses thats an extra $1000. im putting everyone but my boss on the b list and see what happens.

right now i have 12 work people invited, that's including guests. I'm def not inviting everyone; only who i'm close with

we're not inviting any. i've been at my current job for a year and a half, and i'm not really close to anyone. FH wants to invite his manager, but since that's the only person he feels is invite worthy, he's not inviting him so it doesn't cause problems at work, like why was he invited but not me? we're also trying to keep the # down, we were originally planning for 60-70, but our guest list is now at 115. if we were close to our coworkers though we would have invited them.

I dont think I will be inviting anyone from my job. FH will invite his coworkers though

I am inviting people i work closely with everyday. If I invited everyone it would be over 100 people so i can't do that.

I'm inviting everyone from my office (not the company) so it will only be 4 ~ 5 people (plus guests)

i'm not inviting anyone from work. I just started 6 mo ago so i dont think anyone expects to be invited

I don't have anyone from work on my list...and it's hard. But, there are certain people that I absolutely wouldn't want there, and some that I definitely would. But, I'm in a VERY small office, so it would totally be a problem to invite some and not others...but, with a guest list of 287...I can't afford to invite an extra 30 people! (the 15 in the office, plus their spouses.)
luckily...turns out, I'm getting a new job...so, I may be able to invite the one or two people I actually consider 'friends' without having to give in to office politics, and invite people I don't like!!

i work in a small office - so its all or nothing (about 14 with spouses) -- i didnt want to but FH says i should -- so i 'B' listed them - but will most likely be inviting them

i am only inviting the ones that i'm close to, there is no way in hell i can invite everyone, plus i wouldnt want to.
