What to do?

So I originally bought my wedding dress at David's Bridal back in November and was rethinking the decision. I recently went to Fantasia Bridal Center and tried on more dresses. I found one that I really liked by Alfred Angelo. I am so confused about what to do. I think I like the new dress better, but I don't want to be stuck with an $800 brand new dress at home. The new dress has everything I wanted. I am so confused and I don't know what to do? Help!

What to do?

You definitely have a ton of time until you need to buy your dress since your wedding is so far away. My advice is to not order the new dress and just hang on to your old one for now or try to sell it. Take some time, think about your decision and go shopping in the fall when the newer lines are out since you may find something you like even better.

Re: What to do?

same thing happened to me. I got a dress from David's bridal back in July. it was the first store I went to and just went for it. as soon as we left I felt I made a mistake.

as the months went by I couldn't stop thinking of other dresses & I always loved eve of milady dresses I'd constantly look at her website and see dresses and feel sad. I felt like I was missing out on the dress everyone gets so excited about & calls the one.

so I started looking around just to see what was out there and fell madly in love with an eve of milady dress. of course this didn't go over well with my parents who wasted $800-900 & were paying for everything. though my grandma seeing me in the dress & seeing how I was almost in tears over it, that I loved it so much eventually changed their minds. of course I'm probably an exception in this situation because all my girls were like my parents would have killed me lol.

anyway do you love the new dress? I mean if you absolutely love the new dress that you cannot imagine wearing anything else. that you feel like it's the dress you envisioned your entire life when you thought of a wedding dress. then I say change it. otherwise it might just be a grass is always greener on the other side situation. there will probably always be some better dress out there no matter what.

What to do?

Yeah, I am just concerned about not being able to sell my old dress and 800$ goes down the drain. I do love this new dress!

What to do?

see if David Bridal will give you a credit to use on bridesmaid dresses or accessories instead?
