What to do about missing gift???

What to do about missing gift???

We have no idea what to do about this, so I'm looking for some opinions!
We received a card from a couple, but there was nothing inside it! We're sure they just forgot to put the check in, but we have no idea how to *remind* them.
We don't really NEED the money, but how do you reference it in the thank you card? I don't want to write 'Thank you for a wonderful gift' just in case they realize later that they forgot to include it ... but at the same time I don't want to not include a sentence about the gift just in case they never do realize it.
What would you do?

Maybe you can write Thank you for your wonderful gift and for coming to the wedding, it was wonderful seeing you!

So if they forgot the check, they can fix it. And if they never meant to give you anything, that's it.

Btw, How was CHCC? I'm getting married there on Friday!!!

Just thank them for their lovely card and say how nice it was to see them at the wedding.

According to etiquette, guests have up to one year from the wedding to send/give a gift. We are still getting gifts from people who only gave us a card at our wedding eight months ago.

i would just say 'Thank you for sharing in our special day'

mentioning a gift might be a bit uncomfortable if they didn't give you one at all....especially if maybe they are waiting to give one later.

Same here. Just thank them for coming to the wedding and sharing the special day with you!

Okay great. I had no idea about the year thing!
Thank you guys so much =)

CHCC is amazing!!! You're going to love it. All our guest were in awe.
Try to get Sandy as your bridal attendant. She was a heaven sent. She fixed my bustle and pinned the dress when it was still a bit too long in the back.
She even found 4 different flower girl baskets when I wasn't thrilled with the one we had! And she decorated it.
The food was delicious as well.
You're going to have a wonderful day. They really cater to your every desire there!

I dont know, I dont really think there is a good way to do this. If you say something and it turns out for some reason they didnt give you a gift on purpose, then it becomes very awkward for all involved.
