your FH's best man has no clue about what to do as a 'best man' - we haven't seen him since August, he also probably has no idea what his role that day will be either... booo!!

Just have your FH give him a call and let him know what he expects of him as the BM (like organizing the bach party, showing up for the rehearsal, rallying the other GMs to go shopping for tuxes, etc).

Yeesh, tough one! Some guys are pretty clueless, mabey if your comfortable just email him saying something like 'hey just wanted to let you know how important it is to me that FH has a great time with his guys (Bach Party, Golfing or whatever) and I just wanted to know if you need help planning any of these (said events). Blah Blah...mabey he'll get the hint that he should be more on the ball with this stuff or mabey he just has noooooo clue and needs a lil schooling!!!

There really isn't anything for the best man to do at this point. He basically plans the bachelor party, which is closer to the wedding, and makes sure the groom gets there. I'd leave him be. Your FH can discuss with him about the bachelor party later on. No need to rush the guy.
