what to do with a wedding dress from a canceled wedding ?
I have a wedding dress from my wedding that was called off in 2008. I don't have room between my new one and old one.

you could also donate to The Bridal Garden, they are a NYC non-profit bridal resale shop. All their proceeds go towards education for NYC schoolchildren. Their website says that you receive a receipt for a tax deduction with your donation.

I won a wedding gown and sold it on ebay. I also used recycledbride.com and posted it. I got a few interests in it, but the sale ultimately came frome ebay.
It retailed for $1250 I listed it as a 'buy it now or b ets offer for 850' and reduiced the price each time it relisted. I think I sold it for $700

there is also a place called bridesagainstbreastcancer.com that you can donate to. All the proceeds to go breast cancer research and groups. Thats what I'm doing with my dress after the wedding!

Sell it!!
the donation won't be much of a tax write off and although its nice to do and all, I'm sure that you could use the cash to help pay for something else!
