What to do with engagement ring?

On your wedding day. Do you not wear your e-ring or do you wear it on your right hand until your wedding band is placed on it, then put the e-ring on top of that?

I know it is confusing.

Thoughts???

I wore it on my right hand and its been there even since. I love having diamonds on both hands (and I don't like the way my the bands look together - but I love them each apart.)
